About

I’m Madeleine, a Toronto-based filmmaker with a passion for camera and cinematography. I grew up in community theatre, where I first fell in love with capturing stories with other people, and went on to study Cinema & Media Studies at the University of King’s College and Dalhousie University.

My work has taken me across camera, cinematography, lighting, grip, and directing. Throughout my experience working with the Dalhousie Cinema and Media Studies Society as Vice-President and Communications, i've worked on and over-sought the production of over a dozen short films. I'm excited to keep growing and learning through collaboration with other creatives.
